Percieve

Feeling free in this gentle summer breeze
In my own skin I am finally at ease 
Living like I only have myself to please
Not begging for acceptance on my knees

Knowing I have a purpose to achieve
What I want to do and in what I believe 
Knowing what I now need to do to relieve 
The suffering and all the pain that I percieve

I'll float away on a current of surrender
Now feel the moments caress as tender 
Can finally relinquish my role as defender
And percieve the beauty in life's splendor
