Philosophy of a Poetess

I've always believed
what is meant to be, will be 
it's all down to fate?
 
where and why things happen 
well, it was always going to happen
and in that order
and in that place

and so...
when I meet new people
I always think
they were always meant to be
in my life with me
 
I've always believed this 
until today…
 
but what if it's not all down to fate?
what if it’s all really
just by accident?
