A Place So Odd

Leave all petties
As make your go forth
Travel down dire lane
The path that goes north
Past the weeping meadows
Where the flowers never bloom
Through the crypt that holds
The iron folds
Edgar Poe's tomb
Through the shady passing
Woods of grey
Where no one
Daresay tell
Of the screams within
Your only kin
A place they brandish hell
To the haunted house
Where none may vouch
The sanity of the butcher
Let him feed you
I'll receive you
Ask him for the Looker

May I daresay Curious!!...........this piece not only lives up to it's title...........but the subtle inferences that you use to create darkly haunting phrases are well placed and beautifully shaped.............like the Poe reference so perfectly placed.............it has a gray veil hanging over it...........making for ....."A Place So Odd"..........very cool brother..........well done!!.............T xo
