Plain Jane

Plain Jane

"You've done this wrong", she said

So,
What's the worry?
Why should I be sorry?

We make mistakes

"Mistakes", she said

She trod away, not much to say
Boring old girl

Twirl your hair once in a while
Actually don't, your hair is vile

That mangy, itchy, brown caridgan too

I wonder if she's ever fallen in love
or to have flown up above.
Did she dance all night,
Walk home with smudged lipstick in the morning light.
I wonder if she was fun,
Did what she wanted 'cause she was free and young.
Watch the sun rise and set
Cuddled up to someone she just met.

I wonder.

"Do you know how hard I work?", she said
Yes, I can see it in your smile.
"Smile?"

Like, God

I’m sure he likes my smile
Watches me move
Curious of how I feel
Maybe even misses me...

Disappear

Right now I'm struggling to find peace of mind,

Wanting to put everything on rewind.
