Playing

Playing

We ran like children in the rain

Skipping and jumping

and playing again

It was late at night

When nobody could hear

But we woke up our neighbours

And still we didn't care

Our hearts were merry

and our feet were bare.

T, it feels like years since we've talked, my internet was down for a few days and my computer is crap; no other way to say it, lol.....glad you like this one, I still remember what inspired it and wish there were more ....I believe that play should never leave us, even when we get much older, so sad when it leaves...thanks for comment big bro.

Curious, thanks a million for your comment, this one was a very fast write; as most writes should be, ( I edit my poems to death) yes it was nostalgic in reality, but it shouldn't be, even adults should never stop playing, but we do and yes the times we played become nostalgic....cheers Curious

Awww beautiful angel,

What deep thoughts, provoking the sense of freedom and glee...only children seem to have....

Marvelous ! Great conception and delivers in its construction!

This invokes thoughts of innocence and fun........You help make me dream...

Have a great life and writing journey angel..

Love and hugs

Keep smiling ;P
