Please Stop Poking

Please Stop Poking

Even when you're done
Even when you're on the floor
Holding your breath,
Because you understand now,
That your ability to inhale air
is an inconvenience

They'll still come
With sharpen knives,
Sticky Fingers,
and a malevolent smile;
To selfishly take what they desire.
...
 but I'm worthless.
 I have nothing.
 all I am is damaged
all I've been doing is failing
and depression has left me dead.

So why?

 Why poke a corpse?

A Lonely Journey

D-Lynn, that is so sad, but beautiful.
Maybe it's just writing, but you're definitely not worthless, you're great.
Great writing, my friend.

Matthew.
