Please Come Home

Please Come Home

You were my lover and you were my wife
Those were perfect days
But you left me for another
& you went away,
Not much more to say

Havent I made it obvious
Havent I made it clear
I’m no gud on my own.
Oh, please come home
I just need you near

I guess I had my faults back then
Tho we were together for years
But I’m willin to change
If you will let me try
Just come home my dear

I saw you both in a local bar
I thought you looked so sad
I wondered if you
Missed me too
It made my heart feel glad

So I will always wait for you
Untill my dying day
Just tell me that you love me too
Coz I’ll not go away
