There's a ghost over this mountain
In the rock of three sisters
Watching over the valley
Trees providing the life force
Forty thousand years
Watching and waiting, watching
And waiting for you
On the land below
Where you lived and died
There in the rocks
The three sisters watch
Watch over the escarpment
Meenhi, Wimlah and Gunnedoo
Guided by their witch doctor father
Tyawan
Until he dropped his witch doctor bone
Keep your spirits up sisters
We are gathering and we are
Dancing for all the people,
In the valley of the three sisters

I was there yesterday Nardine and truly it's an incredible
place. A bit nerve wracking writing a poem for a person
but when Barry mentioned the sisters I thought I will

WOW Jai Masters!!........I understand the motivation quite well.......I used to be a tour manager escorting Europeans around the US, Canada, and Mexico........so I've visited nearly every historical, entertaining, and natural wonder in the America's........did helicopter rides through the Grand Canyon several times........it's an amazing world we live in.........thanx for this fantastic introduction to the Three Sisters.......I've only been to Australia once.......I have friends there.........perhaps another visit is in store for me someday.......this was a great write my friend...........Thank You...........Love and Rockets!!..........T xo
