POEMS BY CANDLELIGHT

Sitting here writing poems
by the fire by candlelight
listening to soft piano music
and drinking tea outside my Â
window I see horses runningÂ
wild and free the sky is blue
the sun is shiningÂ
the birds are singing i am sitting here
by the fire by candlelight thinking
of the old days and what i could
write in my poems by candlelightÂ
by the fire
I close my eyes and listen to
soft piano music and think
of my poem to write by the
fire by candlelightÂ

Thank you Tony this is a poem that I wrote down on paper first it took me days to write it I tried to give it a very soft feeling of an old time poem somehow didn’t all come out the way I wanted but I tried it is very hard to write but the feeling of I’m trying to capture an old-time poem I think that I could’ve added more or Said it a different way Added more here or there but I’m pleased that the way it made me feel thank you for reading my poemÂ
Soft words.

My Dear Greg,
With the flickering of the candlelight
I lose myself in time
My mind soars in astroflight
And I create my strongest rhymes
Peace and Love,

Nicely done angel keep writingÂ
Greg a poem with a sense of worth and much needed warming softness.
I believe from time to time we need that nourishment and soothing bliss many times in life and your gentle poem delivers that balm of bliss and quietude.
For it's god to escape this humdrum relentless loud world and once in a while to truly escape.
Thanks for sharing your little piece of solitude and much desired peace.
Remain the good man and poet you are and thank you.
