Poetcide

Poetcide

Sometimes
I want
to indefinitely
terminate
my creative
soul

At times
the ink
bears
too much
or too little
of my
emotions
that
I am
left
baren
inside

So
do
I starve
my
pen
until
it is
left
dehydrated
and
unable
to carry
on?

Or
do
I self
reflect
and
change
my tools
using
a
hypothetical
quill
dipped
from
the canister
of knowledge
to express
the passion
deep within?

I think I will
try the
latter
as
Poetcide
would
only
lead
to
a reincarnated
form
of
self

Wow! Brilliant write Greg. I liked this very much and so true as writers often bare their soul in their writings. Thanks for sharing. Ru :)

I don't understand how can having creative soul make you starve doesn't creativity feed your soul?
