Poetic Value

They say there is no value

in a poetic form of expression

As if lifes enhancement

is only for monitary gain

Yet my soul still cries for attention

in efforts to remain....sane

While my pockes may grow

from the hard labor

of my physical womans gain

My poetic value 

yearns to flow

from creative womans 

 pleasures and pain

Art is sometimes stunted

when chased by dreamers feet

 running to share their intimate feelings

of sweet

I say an artist is a rich man

for the soul is everlasting

and its food will never perish

I say expression of ones love

will withstand the many tosses

of lifes busy

day after day of the same ol way

That..... simply bores me to tears

Looking inwardly I can be 

whomever I please

The poetic me that views life

differently 

They say there is no value

in a poetic song or melody

I say different

I say priceless

for it shall last an eternity

Now finally my pause is over

for again I am writing

letting nothing again 

devalue my craft
