POPE ON A SKI SLOPE

I'm sure it was him on top of the ski slope
Certain I'm not wrong was definitely the Pope
He had a cross around his neck over his coat
Said bless you my child on this slope so remote 

I stared at him for a long time just to make sure
Didn't want to think that I was being premature 
Granted you don't see the Pope on a slope everyday
I know it was him though when he started to pray

A thought occurred to me what if I were wrong 
Take it on the chin I guess and have to be strong 
Should have taken a picture maybe a selfie 
Whoever it was I hope they remain healthy
