Portrait of Truth

Portrait of Truth

And as I sweep my modest paintbrush,
over this canvas

I find myself painting a picture
of everything you mean to me

but then, pausing for thought
suddenly I realize…

there’s just not a canvas
in this world that’s big enough.

Oh I do love this...this is exactly how I feel when trying to paint portraits of my son, the emotions are too vast to be contained on a thing so small...hugs x

How lovely dear Marion, may you one day have that portrait and wear it on your walls with pride. 🌹 Thank you so much.
