POSTCARDS

Do people I wonder send postcards anymore
In the day of email I'm not really sure
Postcards were sent at holiday time
Wish you were here and the weather's sublime

I remember my holidays through these cards
Sending greetings to the family and kind regards
Some postcards were risque but didn't cause offence
Back in the day a stamp to post it cost twenty pence

I wish postcards were still popular today
Better than those emails is all I will say

You're so right!
Although I am one of those "tech savvy" teens old people dislike I still love the idea of postcards and letters,
there's just something so romantic and meaningful about them you know?
Awesome write :)

Hi Kieran,. I knew I'd find a nice write with you.  I found in my grandparents shed a suitcase full of Aunt Myrtle's post cards. Don't know who she was but hundreds dated from 1917- 1936 I think.  They are cool.  Love, Terry Kay
