POWER AND MAJESTY

 
Can one stop the sun from shining 
Or stop the sea from rushing to the shore
Can the clouds of heaven be counted 
Or time be measured in forevermore 

Can the trees on earth's face
Be numbered by man's created mind
Can a hurricane be stopped in its path 
By the power of speech 
Can one interrupt the motion of time

Who is he that can cause war to cease 
And eradicate sin from the heart
Who can remove the light of day
And give man life and his timid start

Awesome is the LORD
And Holy is His name
KING of Kings The glorious one
Who's righteousness is forever the same 

There is nothing He can't do
By the Power of His WORD 
He can take your fragmented life
And create something beautiful 
For He is God.
