Prayer of Faith

I knelt down and prayed,
Thanking in advance you heard,
Knowing they reached up to heaven,
This where the answer would give birth.

Trusting you in all things,
I decided to put worries aside,
Believing when I asked you to help me,
You would gladly take burden from my life.

Not in control of situation,
The outcome to be at your mercy,
My faith stood strong in this request,
Knowing you heard my call when thirsty.

Now today I have joy,
Receiving the answer I needed,
Happily praising you for the outcome,
Rejoicing you listened when I had pleaded.
