PREPARING FOR WINTER

Autumn leaves fall from the trees 
The air turns to an almost chilly breeze 
The leaves fall to the ground below 
Won't be long before the threat of snow 

The trees begin to look naked and bare
They look so isolated just standing there 
Cold and frosty mornings will fill the air
People are getting ready to prepare 

Fires are being lit throughout the land 
Gloves are being worn on each hand 
Getting ready for winter is what we must do
Longing for summer with skies so blue
