Press Rewind by Ceniqua L Proctor

Don't cop out and place the blame always at my door step.
I am only your other half,
or so I thought I was.
I know times get desperate but will you help me carry this heavy load?
When I signed the agreement you bargained to do your part,
This was not just me,
it was always us until you seperated the equation.
Everything Ive tried to do was not enough,
even when others saw the good in my creation.
You shot me down with nothing but insults.
Who wants to participate in that?
I dont want to give to you in vain,
All you do is complain,
Everytime we make a move Im the one to blame.
Step up and do what a man should,
I know its all new to you and I do see the good.
Each one of us have a pull,
I cook meals, clean the house,go to work and go to school.
Lets get this thing together before I lose my mind,
I wish this was a movie,
Itll be easier to press rewind.

This poem is having a different outlook and a hidden pain it.There is no definition for poetry, even though WILLIAM WORDSWORTH once said " It is a spontaneous flow of emotions "
