Pretend You're a Moose

It might be too late,
To change what has been done.
It might be too late,
To save a man that has been hung.
But within each other,
We can see a light.
Grab hold of each other,
Find your reason to fight.
Swallow your pride,
Instead of a pill.
Put the blade down,
Don't rewrite your will.
Life is hard,
But that's not a reason to frown.
Think how they will feel,
When they find you on the ground.
Suicide is a cop out,
It solves nothing, you see.
Living life in spite of the hate?
That sounds better to me.Â
So put down pills,
Untie the noose.
When life gets hard,
Pretend you're a moose.
Soft and gentle creatures,
Yet feared for their size.
Just sit back and be gentle,
You'll see through their lies.
For you are not meant to be hunted,
You are meant to live on.
So hold your head high little moose,
And your problems will be gone.
