Pretty little Sparrow

Pretty little Sparrow

Oh little feathered friend I can feel your dampened pain.. perched underneath my birdhouse roof sheltering from the rain..this is all it seems to do these days so you must constantly be wet.. seeking out tiny morsels in your hungry mindset

One can only hope it dries up soon to aid you in your plight.. skittering and skuttering in mid air in a frenzied flight..dodging those heavy dew drops as you trample under the trees.. in amidst the leafy undergowth plodging up to your tiny knees

As I sit watching you on my bird table you are looking in at me.. tho I adore your simplicity in life of flittering around so free..I am pleased I am a human being living in a homely house.. heavens above you are Oh so small.. equal to a minute mouse..pretty little sparrow I thank you for your visit.. one of Mother natures brilliant British birds that make our world exquisite

I love this Jill...these are thoughts I too have had though could not have expressed as you have. I love the winter and then suffer such guilt because I do not want animals that have lived out since time began to be cold...daft cow!!!🤣🤣...beautiful write 🌹🌹

Fantastic, Jillian.
You are also a brilliant, British bird that makes the world exquisite...but you never lay an egg, your writing is always wonderful.
Loved it, my friend!
