Pretty winter scene

There is a small, quaint country cottage
Always catches my eye
As I meander along a one-track lane
When I am passing by

I often wonder who dwells there
But there must be a few
The garden has a washing line
With an isolated, stunning view

Oh what a pretty picture 
This scene does make
I will pause for a moment
I will have a short break

Down in the valley
Is this little stone abode
With its washing line blowing
Such a multi-coloured heavy load

Oh what a joy this must be
For the lady living here
All her washing will be dry
She need never fear

There is a light breeze a-blowing
It is a perfect winters day
I must return in the autumn
Scenery is spectacular then, they do say

The cottage garden is so beautiful
Yet full of seasonal hues
Glossy, green holly full of red berries
Such an impressive, pretty view
