Poem -

Pride, what cost?

Pride, what cost?

Standing here lost
pride, what cost?
greeted with frost
looks glaringly crossed

Forgiveness
no, stubborness
feeling powerful
no awful

I never take what’s
not given willingly
my own moral code
righteousness spilling

Do I now feel bolder
no, just a little colder
I could have lay on his shoulder
but my heart as hard as a boulder

I stand here alone and weep
probably tonight, no sleep
I’m feeling like a creep
looking at myself, not a peep

Hi Susan,

Confidence exuberates' from this poem Susan and for all the right reasons, you have been on fire as well and all you write speaks highly of your skill to follow one winning poem after another, keep pushing that pen, a rolling stone was never to be known, to gather moss nor dust...Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!
