Prisoner of The Soul

a prisoner’s urge of escape,

grows everyday

the prison bars shield the outside.

With sharp barb wire around the walls,

not letting anyone in....

but keeping the inmate trapped.

After being isolated for so long

freedom doesn’t even shows

as an option anymore.

The longer the prisoner stays,

The more comfortable they become,

Behind all that barb-wire....the walls....and the bars.

Is a soul trapped, never wanting to get out.
