Psalm 02

Psalm 02

I’ll drink today in the hopes it’ll sate my thirst.
I’ll pour for the morrow believing I’ll be first.
And I’ll drown knowing that without the teal, I’ll be cursed.
Hence I’ll beg, scream and roar
For the vision I adore.
In that I am a lorn soul gulled by beryl lights just as before.
Drink once more albeit the moon utters the sun.
And dreams are not as when they begun
Drink last now that amber and gold are dun.

Ahh a picture of Chronos eating his children.  Haven't seen that one in quite some years.  and btw if you are an addict there is a way out but you have to take that leap of faith and give it all to God or a Higher Power.  There is life after addiction, I had a stroke 9 months ago and have been clean ever since!
