Psychosis

Psychosis

Up so high above everyone else,

The mountain of my mania the peak of my ecstasy,

Days trickle by like drops falling

From an icicle,

A story frozen in time,

Something a curious, tortured mind is not able to refrain from

Recalling,

Calling out after the memories,

Reflections that bounce off each other

in my mind's eye,

A construction of the truth,

torn into shreds, like the top

you tore;

The woman who was trying to help you.

"Feed your brain, feed your body" Said Sheely From 5 West Ward...

Little did she know,

Of the knowledge I had been fed too much,

Truth and lies pouring out over the brim of my skull,

Merging into one collective

Lie.

One psychotic truth.

The facade of the world around me torn

Down
