Purple

Purple

Purple? I don’t see purple
I say it’s blue.
Don’t you tell me what to do.
You can scream all you want to,
I will keep drinking my tea.
I will make the sky’s red until you see,
It’s blue not purple.
It’s time you listen to me.

Hi Tony

Thanks so much for the comment. My poem was based on how people can be manipulated into believing somebody else’s truth. However, I love the colour blindness take on my words it definitely gives it a different and fantastic other meaning!!

Thanks again :)
