purple elephants

I will paint a room
     with a window
     that is large and open
out of that window I will paint
     a pastel blue sky and
     cotton candy clouds
you can add
     some birds, ivy or
     anything else you wish
I will put some trees and
     three very sophisticated
          purple elephants 
you will ask me if I am nuts
but today everything is allowed
in there
     will be a wonderful world
     where everything will be
     as it should be
because everything
     will exist for you
you will be the one who reigns and
     we will put a crown on you
     for everybody to know
you will ask me if I am nuts
but you see
      what I have to do
      to get a smile from you?
so be happy my little bee
out there
       there is a wonderful world
       where everything is
       just as it should be
just for you
