Purple Haze
This strange yet wonderful purple haze
Holding me spellbound
I must be in some kind of dream
Nothing seemed real
My mind seemed completely
Lost in the wonder of this enchantment
It 's magnificence
Music filled the air
Soft unlike anything I had ever heard
It had to be some kind of mirage
The strangest of feelings
I seemed to be floating ~ yet I am sitting
On the edge of a cliff
Looking at the most stunning sky
I have ever seen
Shadows appear everywhere
An illusion created by birds flying high
An array of beautiful sea shells shimmer
Reflected by the moon from the waters tides
Within blue purple skies stars twinkle
Adding sheer beauty to the night
And somewhere between
The profile of a familiar face
Can be seen
Memories emerge
His manly smell fills the air
Slowly silently my body moves
Within the warmth of his embrace
I melt from his touch ~ into
The security of his everlasting love
Souls unite we are as one
