Poem -

PURPLE TEARS

Stained love

You've said all you had to say
So please leave now, walk away
Leave while a few pieces of me
Still clings together in fragile hope

If you once loved me
Then leave me with a shred of dignity
Walk away, please go
As I kiss your shadow at the door

Am I not supposed to cry
Seeing that the heart in me just died
Today is a purple day, the day my blood was mingled
With the black stain of your goodbye

How I wish it was overcast and grey
Then I could hide myself away
For lonely is a man without love
Forever lonely will my life be without you

From today my heart shall live in a house
Beyond repairs and laden with fears
As I wash away the remembrance of you
With my purple tears.
