Put Your Arms Around Me

 March.23.1999/August.14.2015
 Trisha Barrek Hopkins

Put your arms around me
Hold me and never let go
Your feelings let everyone see
For the future we don't know

But lets make the best
Out of what we got
The warmth of your arms
It's better then the rest
You're more then just being hot
Your security keeps me from everything that harms
You never act like your not
I enjoy your loving charms

When you hold me my heart feels safe
I know you can't buy love that's not for sale
But it seems like you put your heart in a cage
Your eyes seem pale
Let go of the rage
How about forgetting the past
And just turn the page
There is nothing you could lose
Focus on the future
Tell everyone the good news

You put your arms around me
By doing that
You set my worries free
To you I will always have a welcome met
This way will always be

Put your arms around me
Hold me close and tight
Happy with you I will always be
In my eyes your a perfect sight

Don't ever let me go
You are my heart
This I hope you know
I pray to God we never fall apart
