Puzzletry
Just means to me
A puzzling form
Of poetry
 
Where lines occurred
Of random words
That make no sense
Their meaning dense
 
Being stupid isn’t me
I even have a First  Degree
But struggled trying to find the light
Interpreting some  poets ‘write’
 
But here’s the thing  that’s just occurred
That poetry is not just words,
It’s trying  to  express a thought,
Or notion ,that the poet sought
 
Ideas that can’t  be expressed
or any other way addressed.
It’s trying  to share experience…
so sometimes it may not make sense
 
But don’t give up-I almost did..
and had I done then God forbid!
A world of magic lost to me-
the speaking world of poetry.
 
It’s from the heart  and that’s the point
No matter if the words disjoint,
and make no sense to man or beast,
they’ve given us a real ‘wordfeast’.
 
But let me know- I’d like to see,
just how you all interpret me..
Do read the next verse I produce
And tell me what you all deduce……..
 
‘unhindered by all earthly laws that bind, control,
Tumbled thoughts unwind , unfold
Lips silent movement,pressured into life,
Formed in the mind of a stranger
but released to fly and bless a blank page.
Waiting for acknowledgement and
Perchance understanding?’
