Quarantine end off week 3

End of quarantine week 3....

It’s now the ‘End' of quarantine week 3,
So many of you out there,
Now,
Allowed to go out,
And from this viruses shackles,
Allowed to roam free.

Haven’t we learnt anything?
From the 1st countries mistakes,
Or how they eventually expelled this deadly virus,
From the grasps,
Of it's ominous fate.
We,
Like others,
Have 9 weeks more.
But what good will that do,
As the ones that are now free,
Will start enjoying summer,
Keeping on spreading this disease forevermore.
Meetings in parks,
Parties after dark.
It’s obvious within a week,
They’ll be once more separated,
3 Weeks more apart.

It’s now the ‘End' of quarantine week 3,
So many of you out there,
Now,
Allowed to go out,
And from this viruses shackles,
Allowed to roam free.

Families are going crazy,
Parents are going nuts,
At least in the holidays,
You can go out and relax.
We’ll just have to change our garden to a man made beach,
Especially considering,
We’ve still got 9 more weeks!
How are we keeping sane?
Running out of things to do,
So send amazon our way,
To save the day,
As I feel bad for all the birthdays,
That on confinement don’t mean much,
Who would want a birthday,
Without that family touch?
Luckily my boys,
For now is a house of 5,
So even on their birthdays,
 that birthday spirit is still alive!

Now,
Allowed to go out,
And from this viruses shackles,
Allowed to roam free.

Bonfires on a cool spring night,
Toasting marshmallows in the dancing flames,
Not burning them to a crisp,
Is the aim of this game.
The kids love to help build,
Light and destroy it,
What’s the point of a fire though,
Without a stone built fire pit.
now's when our imaginations should run free,
Especially as it’s the end,
Of quarantine,
Week 3!
I need more to do,
I’m running out of ideas, 
Even simple things,
Like what evening meal to cook,
Bangers and mash or a nice hearty beef stew,
Chilli con carne or vindalo?
In the end I just let my kids choose,
As whatever I pick I’m bound to mess things up,
like I always seem to do.
Ok,
so maybe this quarantine is driving me just a little bit cuckoo...

We aren’t the only ones having to barricade our front door,
Keeping this virus out and its deadly spores. 
You can tell it’s bad,
When your postman drops off a package,
Knocks and stands 2 metres,
 from everyones doors,
They’ve contact with everyone,
As they touch our mail with non gloved hands,
This is how it will continue to thrive,
Through the postmans touch on our everyday mail,
Throughout the whole of our lands! 
Ok so post will stack.
Ok so Bill’s will be missed.
It’s all ok though,
As they’re also going through excactly the same as us,
So don’t fret about late bill payments.
Sod em all,
Is what I say,
If this is Apocalyptic,
They’ll all go damn bust anyway.
Money being the last thing on our minds.
What use is money now?
For food stockpiling like it’s the end of the world?

Now,
Allowed to go out,
And from this viruses shackles,
Allowed to roam free.

If it affects our livestock,
From Pigs,
To Chicken,
Fish and cow,
Well all have to turn vegetarian and self sustain somehow.
The only good thing from this,
means less cow farts,
Those I’ll definitely not miss
Damaging our ozone layer,
Little piece by little piece...

This virus is a killer,
This virus is not safe,
People dropping like flies,
All over the place.

Stop being moronic and meeting with your friends,
Bbqs in their gardens or even at the beach or the park.
I hate it though,
As the longer they do it,
Then the vulnerable,
Like my kids,
Partner and me,
Wont be allowed out for many weeks more,
Until people stop that,
Then this virus,
Will never end.
Until they stop meeting,
The weeks will surely have to simply start again!
