Quarantined

Quarantined

Quarantined

My favorite Thai Place,
Had recently reached its demise.
Last time I went,
Their whole staff was Honey Boo Boo size.
Something was wrong and I couldn’t tell…
But I kept my mouth shut.
Because the more I talked, the more
I inhaled the repulsive smell.
This place was never like this,
At least not that I remember.
I literally came here last December.
But I will never doubt the amazing food.
Even if the employees were not the best,
The food made up for them being grotesque.
I’m not being rude and this is no exaggeration,
The staff was questionable with no hesitation.
I went on my first date,
At this Thai place,
And I was so sure it was a place I could not replace.
I hyped it up so much.
That the food was fantastic,
The ambiance bombastic,
I made it seem like something drastic.
But I was wrong.
I made myself look presentable,
Knowing that my dining choice was very sensible.
Eventually I was shocked to see
Something that will probably make you question me.
We got to the place,
And my eyes were blinded by a big disgrace.
Standing there all dressed up and pristine,
I was astonished to see this place was quarantined.
