Poem -

quiet

In a quiet room, I ponder on you
the things you do, the way you move
all of the mysteries won't matter when I'm before you
all of the questions that I have, all of the opinions I wanna add
won't even come into mind when I see Christ beside you
you're my God, my heavenly father
I fear you, I love you, respect you, and off and on, reject you
but protect me from myself, this flesh is not good for my health
my heart is turning toward you
my mind is humbling itself before you
my body is cooling off
in time I'll be in line with your divine will
