"QUIET IS SILENT "

The silence of a cotton ball that suddenly falls on the floor

​​​​​​A never opening door 

A telephone that is mute

A faucet turned off

A hoarse voice unable to speak

People in a library  with all eyes glued to the reading of books

Long hard stares with frozen looks

A baby sleeping  peacefully 

The restful nap I just took

Quiet is a silent sound 

You never hear it but you 

feel it's presence all around
