voices

Quiet Please
Cease the voices in my head
of a pounding narrative of a memoir
Seal those chapters I have read
Quiet Please
I hear them loud and clear
Of an account of love affairs
The ending of each to which I fear
Quiet Please
Where voices are judgmental and mean
So wicked and brutally honest
Voices that prompt my languid spleen
Quiet please
The alternatives follow no guide
Free from religion or morals
Where love or lust I decide
Quiet please
Words appear empty and frivolous
Absent from substance and action
Where relationships are based on stimulus
Quiet please
Loving "love" a destructive addiction
Truant from loyalty and any honor
Where monogamy an idea and fiction
Quiet Please
targets and milestones seem obsolute
Where Death is the ONLY destiny
Time merely a function of heart beats

HI Bahar,
Beautiful poem, yes if and only if we could cease those loud and empty voices in our  heart and in our head and master the skills to hear the softest murmur of that one voice thats most fearless yet wise., then we have done it all.
Glide on love

Thank you sweet heart....I sometimes really have to make an effort to stop the voices
we are our worst enemy....!
