Poem -

Rain Fell Dry

Rain Fell Dry

The Rain Fell
Dry
Images
held captive
in the mind
of a Poet
who's ink
lay
motionless
waiting
for theย
medicine
to settle
in

soon.....

soothing
words
will flow
through
the fingers
Seducingย
tranquility
to transpire

leaving theย
reader
to partake
in
a
literary communion
allowing
the reader
and author
to become
one
to
poetic
prose

peace
love
becomes
the editor
and publisher
for theย
world toย
see

Being Me

Is this you or the whiskey talking? Only kidding. Seriously though, this is a poem many (who enjoy writing) can relate to ๐Ÿ˜Š x

First of all, Greg, there is a famous saying in Scotland. THERE IS NO E IN WHISKY. Right, now I've got that off my chest, Great poem, not deplorable at all. Beautiful words. Stay safe.ย  Barry x
