“Rain, rain go away!!” 💦

Oh deary me well it is wet once again

Drip drops of heavy rain are rippling down my window pane

Where yon yellow sun is covered clandestinely betwixt those clouds and conjuring calorify in vain

Up and above that colossal cloudy canopy of such a sallow, sombre stain..

Now whilst I realise that there is nothing one can do about this awful weather

And haha being British one would imagine I was well acclimatised to its constant changeability altogether

But alas it seems to me that once it starts raining, it forgets to stop and lasts almost forever

Where my floribunda ends up flooded from that excessive Mother Earths endeavour..

So if you don’t mind I will serenade Mother nature a little song

“Rain, rain please go away you have lasted far too long..

Heavens above this is supposed to be our Summer season and that prolific pouring rain is wrong..

Surely don’t we all deserve to shade in that scorching sunshine where yon sizzling rays are strong…
