RAINBOW COALITION

I seem to be a self-styled loveologist to my colleagues in the hospital, having come to their 'rescue', if you will, from grinding emotions that colour the rainbow of life, a far cry from my training as a palliative care physician. Nevertheless, I uttered the following to a medical oncologist, based on my experiences of the heart.
It is not a poem, so to speak, but a quote, more like:

"A relationship that has traversed the spectrum of trying emotions seems brittle, in reality it is the strongest if the relationship is cherished and desired."
