Rainbow Promise

We clinch—a fallen prayer. Such fruit, a warm condition.
She rinses raspberries, and wipes a tear: I gnaw a lemon.
We’ve died so often; and lived so beige. The in-between
Colors joy; and winsome grey, captures love. I bought a
Pint, and heated spirits: we sipped gold tea. Oh the storm
Affect—a parted sea; and lightenin’ red, a purple calm. My
Sheer affection: a feral poison; and so much, a panacea.
Speak the thunder: a specter voice: and light the flame, a
Firebrand. Indeed a furnace, a trumpet flare; and jasper
Paint, smears the canvas. Thus the pale, a sandy brown;
And thus, the beige—a sign of soul. My sheer reflection, a
Mirror wise; and aqua tears, a spirit warm. In truth, a force,
Brims the mind; and wistful waves, weaves a star. Hence the
Love, a halo scar; and hence the pain, a rainbow promise.
