Raindrops on Our Heart

To watch the rain falling
on the window outside
makes one to consider
it’s nice to be inside

But it can be a picture
of our true inner heart
really wanting to be outside
but inwardly torn apart

We all find it hard
to tell how we feel 
but to tell it out
makes it be so real

So when our life is finished
we will probably look back
wishing we had lived more honest
but knowing life can’t restart

So deal with your heart
let your raindrops fall
outwardly not to return
set your heart walking tall
