Rarer Than The Mona Lisa

The greatest work of art exists, in the photo I have of you;

When you sat to have your portrait done, and you heard the “Great Kazoo”!

You cocked your head and twirled your ears, for these sounds, you’d never heard;

And the photographer then encaptured you, in this photo so absurd!

It shows you being mesmerized, and not knowing what to think;

Or maybe you thought the one that shot it, was in need of a gifted shrink!

All I know is that it is priceless, that look upon your face;

More valuable than the “Mona Lisa”, in any given case!

I sent a picture to the “Louvre”, and also to the “Met”;

I asked them if they had a work of art like this, the one, of my soulmate pet!

They both called back and asked to buy it, they wanted desperately it, to acquire;

I told them it was not for sale at any price, but possibly for hire!
