Realisation

2:06 A.M.
I am awake yet again.
I have come to know few lovers, but my heart sits with you, my friend.
Tonight I was with another, kissing him and talking banter...
When really I drove all the way for you, but was disappointed on my venture.
I waited at the coffee shop.
I must've sat for one or two hours...
Just knowing I might've been able to lend my time to you...
Because if I wouldn't have waited...
I wouldn't have ended up knowing.
So I finished my coffee and made plans with some one else.
Him and I laughed and kissed like red roses but not enough...
It was only for a short ryhme...
And this time, baby, I didn't find myself searching for you driving home yet again...
this time.
