Reality check

Reality check

Dangling feet
No hope
A rope
I weep.
Life support system I need
To rid me of my infectious disease.
Yesterday was bad
Today only in my way
Still looking for better days.
Tall tales of my drug abuse,
No sweet memories of my youth,
Fear of falling loose
I reinforce and tightened my noose.
The tide has swept me up
Now I'm lost in the waves
To tired to continue  to fight
Can't cope,  no way to regain
My repossessed  hope.
