Poem -

Reality Hurts

She is hugging herself trying to
hold it together as she stares at
the wall she begins to rock back
and forward it never stops

The tears start to flow freely as
she holds in her sobs she thinks of
chosing her weapon as a way to
deal with her loss

she had felt that their love was
strong it could get them through
he said they could move mountains
that their hearts were true

When he walked out that door
and never came home her life
was then shattered she thought
to herself what does it matter

As she rocks on her bed her mind
is made up when she tastes the salt
from her tears it's time to
give up

Now she is still and perfectly pale
having gave up she said what the
hell it seems as though he never
really cared.
