Realization

     I had a realization today
simply about the way that I pray
and I tell you what it is
     I’m selfish in prayer
I know God is there
What’s mine should also be His
     I finally started to think about others
let me tell you what I discovered
People are precious gifts
     So now when I pray
I just thank Him and say
I can’t wait to see
