Really Mortality

Really Mortality

Flowers wither and die
by the guidelines
of their natural timeline

Beauty erodes

Time corrodes

The years pile on

Breaking us down

to our core
carbon elements

The dust to dust scenario

So it goes

and so do we

very eventually

good write, man and you can't argue with the reality of mortality concept, Steve...yes death is very real as Hamlet said...'it is the country from whose bound no traveler has returned'...and we al must sail down this unfortunate river at some point... a very sobering and well thought out write, enjoyed

Thank you.. I've had two very dear people in my life pass away recently, so they are both very much in my heart these days
