Realm of laughter

An old tale, an Aussie delight, when the kookaburra laughs at night

He calls the moon, he knows the star's

His laughter like medicine, for healing scars

they say he's funny, wise like an owl
I sit in silence, before him now

I listen to him laughing
From far away
He heals my sorrow
For today

The night it comes, he lays his eyes,
In branched out trees
Beneath the skies

His laughter stays to linger on, a song of reminder before the night

In nature's beauty
Therefore is light.
