The Reason That I bleed

We can escape our realities

Joining into a dark mentality

Though, when we close our eyes

We are only to be surrounded by our thoughts

Which,

Is the reason that I bleed

Pain can encrypt itself inside of you

Devouring your heart and soul

Destroying you mind

Like an unwanted parasite

A cancer you can't seem to beat

The only thing you seem to defeat

Is yourself

Stop.

Don't try to run.

Don't try to scream.

Don't let the pain seep out 

To those that hold meaning

Lock it inside

Close it up tight

And once it gets real late tonight

You will see

The reason that I bleed.
