Poem -
Reckoning
You personify pure evil
All you know is how to kill
You say your deeds are governed by faith
But in your hands no one is safe
To spread peace and love is Gods word
So your rantings on religion are absurd
The many lives that you take
Means it is your soul you forsake
No war was won by subjugation through fear
This is clear with every tear
Families and friends of victims detest your kind
To goodness and compassion you are blind
It is with Satan you have made a pact
Shown by every monstrous act
You will pay heavily for each hideous crime
The price is damnation until the end of time.

For all those lost to terrorism.
Thanks Cherie. I saw an interview yesterday with the wife of one of those murdered in Syria. The atrocities committed by some in the name of religion compelled me to write . I know her loss will be felt even more at Christmas.  My heart goes out to her and all others in the same situation.
I read this because of the picture, I have it as my desk top picture. So I was pleasently surprised by the poem. To use religion as an excuse is an abomination unto the Creator, in my view. I firmly believe that when they are judged and are sent to hell, they will suffer the worst form of punishment imaginable. Your words ring true.

Wow, I definetly thought of terrorism and Isis , but even more so in judgmental point of veiws some see as spirituality even while they profess Christ. Love is love and nothing compares or can replace it. We either destroy or EDIFY , to me there are no grey areas. An awsome poem my friend...:-)
Evil only prevails if good does nothing ! Terrorism and the killing of innocents is one of the most heinous sins against humanity. Those perpetrating such acts deserve to receive the full wrath of the majority, of good souls and of Allah / God .
